High DHA Algal oil 40% Standard Infant Formula
Progress Biotech offers single winterized high DHA algal oil, made in Switzerland and specifically produced as an ingredient for the infant formula feeding market. This high quality flavorless and odorless clear oil has a guaranteed minimum content of 400 mg/g DHA. Antioxidants are added for stability and increased shelf life, allowing for storage of up to three years. This product is authorized by the EU as a Novel food, allowing it to be used in Infant formula feeding and follow-on formula products. Progress Biotech considers this EU approval confirmation and recognition of our uncompromized approach to quality and service resulting in a best in class DHA product. |

10% & 17% DHA algal powder for Infant Formula
Next to our DHA algal oil products, we offer high quality, very stable free flowing DHA algal powder that can easily be dry-blended with other ingredients. This powder is produced with our (Infant Formula-grade) oils, making it suitable for Infant- and follow-on formula products. The powder is cold water dissolvable and produced in the Netherlands. |

EU and EFSA approval
Progress Biotech is proud to announce that as of 2021, we have EU approval for the use of its high DHA algal oil in Infant Formula. This is the result of the full, comprehensive novel food approval process in which EFSA specifically evaluated the use of the Progress Biotech DHA Algal oil for use in Infant Formula applications. Furthermore, the the Scientific Committee of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has published a report confirming our product's is safe to use in Infant Formula and for follow-on formula. The EFSA recommends a minimum content of 20 mg DHA per 100 kcal of infant formula. |
